Wildcat Cove Paddle is hosting a community paddle & clean up event on September 17th, 2022.
See Facebook event here
This day is known as World Clean Up Day! #SeatheChange
This paddle is for fun and to meet others who enjoy being on the water while picking up litter and giving back to the planet, and protecting our local waterways!
We will meet at 1 pm at Waypoint Park beach access.
Find me (I will have my Wildcat Cove hat on), introduce yourself, and then we will paddle northwest along the waterways and attempt to stop at a few beaches to pick up litter before returning.
(Please arrive a little earlier if you need to inflate your water vessel of choice.)
This paddle is open to anyone, at any level, and free of cost—bring-your-own equipment, including safety gear. For paddleboarders, I highly recommend a paddle leash in addition to the coastguard-required PFD & whistle.
***Please bring something to collect trash in your vessel. Buckets or crates work well on paddleboards. Large trash bags will be available after for collection of all trash.

Let’s get out on the water and have a safe & fun time while cleaning up!
