Classes take place at various locations in Whatcom and Skagit counties, from freshwater lakes to Puget Sound beaches, including Lake Padden, Chuckanut Bay and more. Location can be dependent on weather and customers’ skill level. See links below for maps and directions.
Birch Bay State Park
A discover pass or day pass is required to park inside park boundaries. The boat launch is located on south end of park.

Follow signs to east entrance and then to boat launch. Park in the big lot and walk down to water.

Park in the small lot before you come all the way down the hill. Ok to unload at bottom or park if ADA

Larrabee State Park Boat Launch (Wildcat Cove)
A portion of Larrabee State Park, Wildcat Cove is located about a mile south of Chuckanut Bay. From Fairhaven, go 5 miles south on SR 11 to reach Cove Road. Continue on it as it descends, cross the railroad to the left, and continue straight into the boat launch area. Launch from the sand area by the boat ramp. A PFD (lifejacket) loan kiosk is available for paddlers and boaters’ safety. Parking in the main lot requires a valid discover pass or day permit
